New York specifics

What New York businesses need to know about AI.

AI in hiring: Local Law 144

New York City employers and employment agencies that use an automated employment decision tool in hiring or promotion must have it bias-audited within the year before use, publish a summary of the results on their website, and notify candidates. The city's Department of Consumer and Worker Protection enforces it, with civil penalties of $500 to $1,500 per violation, per day.

A December 2025 New York State Comptroller audit found enforcement had been weak, and law firms such as DLA Piper expect stricter enforcement to follow. If your HR team uses AI in hiring, it belongs in your AI policy, and your employment lawyer should review it.

Client and employee data

Most AI tools on business plans say they don't train on your data by default, but you still need rules for what staff can put into them. Our AI tools comparison covers each vendor's data terms.

How we work

On site in New York, or remote.

We map how your teams actually work, in sales, operations, marketing and finance, then match each workstream with the AI tools that fit. We set them up, connect them to what you already use, and train people in small groups at their own desks. Discovery and training can happen at your office in New York or online.

We work with companies on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and with teams who want a stand-alone assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. You buy licences directly from the vendor. On Microsoft 365? Start with our Copilot rollout guide.
